Job Description


Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function.
• Responsible for providing overall logistic support of oil field development including CPF/wellpad / infield line/ Camp/ Feeder line / infrastructure and auxiliary facilities.
• Play a leading role where related to logistic support and management of service and goods such as long lead
• items, and alt other necessary work for KF project.
• Play a leading role in planning and designing the Supply Base.
• Network with the Users, headquarters, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain annual and multi-year Logistic Plan in support of EPC.
• Play a leading role in terms of management of logistic suppliers
• and services.
• Direct the work of logistics analysts and develop logistic solution.
• Prepare logistic strategies for EPC and develop or maintain logistic cost estimates.
• Design comprehensive supply chains that minimize environmental impacts or costs.
• Create models or scenarios to predict the impact of changing circumstances, such as fuel costs, road pricing, energy taxes.
• Evaluate effectiveness of current or future logistical processes.
• Plan and lead in designing work for the Supply Base.
• Develop specifications for equipment, tools, facility layouts, or material-handling systems. ‘
• Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, or safety or maintenance plans.

Requirements
• Bachel0r’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, planning, management or the related
• At least 10-year related working experience.
• EPC work experience is required.

Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of laws and rules of Custom and commercial inspection.
• Extensive knowledge of logistics and foreign trade process.
• Knowledge of declaration, import and export transportation.
• Understanding of oil E&P.
