Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Job
To provide effective and efficient transport facilitation to the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Transport staff and goods securely to and from defined destinations in accordance with the MAUL SOPs and the Road Safety Act.
• Maintain vehicles under one’s responsibility in good mechanical conditions including timely servicing and repairs.
• Ensure vehicle is securely parked in designated area by the required time in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
• Record and report actual delivery status of consignments to the respective destinations
• Obtain first level feedback from customers and report back to customer care coordinator.
• Maintain updated vehicle mileage logbook.
• Ensure all vehicle reports are done on a monthly basis and submitted timely.
• Ensure that records of warehouse transactions match the delivered supplies.
• Any other duty that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications and Key Competencies
• At least 5 years working experience in driving with a clean driving license.
• At least A level certificate and clean valid driving permit with up to Class C/ CE
• Certificate in Defensive driving.
• A certificate in motor vehicle mechanics will be an added advantage.
