Job Summary:

The Machine Attendant has the overall responsibility for manning one machine, collecting and packing good quality products as per company specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check machine parameters at regular intervals during operation and report any deviations to
• the Technical operator for corrective action.
• Responsible for the inspection of all products during production.
• Hand over machine, materials and Finished goods at the end of shift to ensure proper
• working order.
• Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
• Inform the Technical Operator or Production shift leader of any abnormality and stop any
• machine producing out of tolerance products
• Ensure proper housekeeping by immediately informing the Technical Operator of any areas
• observed that do not conform to the set standards.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment (5S) by following standards and procedures,
• complying with statutory regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical

Health and Safety

• Ensure personal safety, wear safety gadgets provided all the time.
• Perform safety checks on a machine before and after operating.
• Report observed safety issues at the end of the shift to the new operator.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Certificate in Mechanics, Electrical installation, crafts engineering, or a related field
• One year of related work experience
