Job Description


Position & Grade: Management Accountant- Budget & Cost Control
Reports to: Manager Corporate Planning & Reporting

Summary Role:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing and monitoring the company’s annual budget performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts and commentaries to support the business performance of the company.
• Forecasting future business and economic events for making future plans i.e., long-term plans, strategic management accounting and formulating corporate strategy among others;
• Analysis of cost structure of the company and recommending strategies to cost management;
• Monitoring of actual and budget performance and recommending to management areas of improvement;
• Providing necessary information to management to support critical short-term decisions such as optimum product mix, make-or-buy, lease or buy, pricing of product, etc.;
• Informing key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies to generate shareholder value.
• Developing and managing financial systems & policies, and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Implement the Movit Eagle way by executing your duties in line with Quality, Speed, Cost, Safety and People in order to establish the basis for Effective Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement and Innovation; and
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Working Relationship and work Environment:
• Working with the entire staff and departments in Movit Products Limited;
• Maintain good relations with key associates and company external stakeholders;
• Office based and ability to manage urgent demands;
• Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit a high degree of flexibility and versatility;
• Ability to work in a team.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s’ degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any other relevant field
• CPA, ACCA or any other relevant professional qualification
• Analytical and logical abilities, with a high attention to details
• Minimum relevant experience of 3 years
• Excellent computer skills with advanced excel skills
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures and general controls with degree of compliance
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Interpersonal skill-Ability to relate well with other fellow workmates
• Leadership skills-Ability to move along with all team members in terms activities execution
• Communication skills: Ability to pass on proper and efficient work information
• Ability to work under pressure:
• Flexibility: Being free and able to handle different tasks as per current need requirement.
