The University Management Accountant aids Management’s financial planning and decision making by providing appropriate financial information and reports; conducts financial analysis and forecasting; develops and implements cost-effective financial policies; mitigates financial risks; monitors auditing and taxation practices, evaluate benefits and compensation packages; ensures the financial health and sustained business growth of the University.
Qualifications & Profile:
Degree in Finance, Accounting or in a related field with excellent technical accounting skills; professional qualification; more than 8 years’ experience in a financial managerial position; advanced knowledge of excel and acquainted with computer ledger system; successfully aided over three recent unqualified external Audit processes; excellent analytical, quantitative, and organisational skills; able to function in a team and supervise a finance team; a mature and practicing Christian who upholds the University’s Core values and Instruments of Identity.
