Role of the Job:
Provide assurance audits on the risk, governance and control of the Bank’s Information Systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Bank’s Information Systems & Infrastructure and advisory services on Information Technology System Development Life cycle/Acquisition of all systems and modules that the Bank introduces

Key Result Areas:
• Review IT audit plans and field work to guarantee they are risk based and comply with internal audit manual and policies
• Continuously improve and update the audit manual and audit methodologies to enhance efficiency of IT audit operations
• Actively participate in the Banks audit plan for the year and preparation of the division budget.
• Develop appropriate audit tests aimed at addressing identified IT risks and achieving the desired audit objectives to provide assurance that IT risks are effectively managed or mitigated.
• Conduct all assigned audits end-to-end; including planning, evaluating, and documenting the results, reporting and follow up in accordance with the annual audit plan.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports on audit findings, detected non-compliance with Bank policies, guidelines, statutory requirements, and procedures for discussion with management, before final reports are issued for corrective action.
• Provide input to the annual IS audit plan/strategy to be included in the master departmental Annual Audit Plan.
• Take charge in putting programs and initiatives in place to support Internal Audit Department to optimize the use of providing internal technical support and knowledge sharing services to all users when necessary.
• Provide advisory services on all key levels of system development life cycle and acquisition process on all Information Technology System and modules being brought into the Bank’s IT environment.
• Develop and maintain productive Client, Staff and Management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
• Professional qualification, e.g. CISA
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced, computer literacy, numerical skills and statistical skills.
• Team player, ability to work under pressure and in a position to exercise excellent judgment.
• The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Good Customer Service Skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Good teamwork skills.
