The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is a corporate body responsible for regulating and driving the development of a robust communications sector in Uganda. The Commission seeks to recruit an individual with proven skills and competencies to fill the vacant position below to assist the Commission implement its mandate.

Overall job purpose:
To manage, review and monitor implementation of frameworks in relation to competition and economic regulation (market, economics, and finance) in line with the mandate of the Commission.

Education and Professional Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in Economics, Policy Management or a related field and
• A bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance or Policy Management or a related field.
• Membership in a professional body is an added advantage.

Working Experience
Technical
• Six (6) years of working experience, in economic modelling, tariffs setting of which three (3) years should be in a managerial position of a similar corporate setting.
