Kulika Uganda (KU) whose mission is to inspire communities. households and individuals with self-confidence and provide skills and knowledge to homess their resources for lasting change economically and environmentally sustainable in their lives, has secured funding from KOICA and Sumsung through Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to implement a Project entitled “Design for second life innovations”. The interventions will be implemented in Rhinocamp and Imvepi refugee settlements in Terego and Madi-Okallo districts”

Purpose of the Job
The MEAL Officer will oversee M&E for the projects to ensure that the implementation of the activities are carried out in accordance with specific objectives. He/She will plan and develop the M&E system, document project M&E strategy. Work plan/framework, conduct baseline and tracer studies for decision making and direct and coordinate all project’s activities. She/he will also support in managing the project’s work plan. Review and compile reports. She/he will also Control expenditure in accordance with budget allocations.

Job Specifications
• Bachelors degree in Development Studies, Economics, Agriculture or any related qualification
• Post graduate diploma in M+E is an added advantage 3+ years work experience in project implementation and management within the NGO sector or a similar sector .
• Experience in working with refugee and host communities • Experience of project development and delivery within short timescales
• Willingness to work in rural areas
