Job Description


Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
Support in executing oilfield mechanical equipment management and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare oilfield mechanical maintenance strategy, organize middle and long term planning implementation.
• In charge of preventive maintenance, implementation, following up and reviewing the plan to ensure it is carried out according to plan.
Organize oilfield critical mechanical equipment, KPI collection and reporting, optimize maintenance strategy of critical equipment accordingly.
• In charge maintenance work, of mechanical organization and troubleshooting, to ensure the equipment running normally and stable and reduce unplanned shutdown.
Execute new oil field mechanical commissioning and start up.
• Collect mechanical related issues left out by engineering and follow up.
• Participate in Emergency response as per Emergency response plan:
• Coordinate and supervise mechanical related contractors to carry out the work.
• Prepare mechanic budget preparation and supervision implementation. mechanical
• Prepare procurement. spares’
• In charge of mechanical equipment updating, modification, and record the change.
Perform other tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or the related.
• At least 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry related to mechanical maintenance and operation.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and operation.
