Job Description
To undertake mineral beneficiation and value addition studies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out laboratory investigations on the processing of mineral ores.
- Assisting in design of flow sheets for mineral processing.
- Test running pilot plants.
- Evaluating mineral processing methods.
- Supervising and ensuring quality control in sample preparation.
- Assisting in preparation of sampling and sample preparation reports for bulk samples and consignments for laboratory investigations.
- Supervising and appraising technicians.
Weekly Jobs
Qualifications:
An honors Bachelor’s Degree in Extractive Metallurgical Engineering or in Mineral Processing Engineering or in Chemical Engineering or in Industrial Chemistry from a recognized university / training institution
