Job Description


We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Officer – Human Resources in Jubilee Life Company of Uganda. The position holder will report to the Human Resource Business Partner and will be based at Head Office in Kampala.

Role Purpose
The role holder plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing various HR strategies and initiatives. The primary purpose of this role is to provide HR support, manage HR operations, and contribute to the overall success of the organization by ensuring effective human capital management.

Main Responsibilities
• Successful recruitment and onboarding of qualified candidates.
• Effective employee relations management and conflict resolution.
Implementation of performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Timely and accurate administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
• Employee engagement and retention initiatives.

• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
• Higher Diploma in HRM or progress in CHRP
• Adaptability and Flexibility
• Confidentiality and Ethics
• Relationship Building 7. Time Management
• Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management of Uganda.

Relevant Experience
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a busy HR department.
