The role of the Petrophysicist is to participate in well data acquisition, interpretation, and formation evaluation for fields with production licenses to ensure that the petroleum resources are well estimated and that the development strategy optimizes recovery and maximizes production.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years of relevant work experience

Roles and Responsibilities
• Participate in the estimation and review of petroleum resource volumes and reserves of the fields with production licenses
• Participate in the review of field development plans and petroleum reservoir reports and the attendant petrophysical models submitted by licensees for fields with production licenses.
Participate in the review of reservoir management proposals and proposed methods to improve oil recovery submitted by licensees for fields with production licenses.
Participate in the petrophysical evaluation of wireline and other petrophysical data during development and production drilling, completion, testing, and work-over programs.
• Participate in the evaluation of petrophysical data from laboratory analyses.
• Review work programs and budgets related to subsurface submitted by licensees with production licenses and follow up their implementation
• Monitor field activities during the development and production phase
• Participate in technical petrophysical research related to activities in the development and production phase.
