Qualification;
• Must have a certificate/diploma in pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Proficient computer and keyboard skills.

Experience;
• At least 2 years’ experience of working within healthcare facility.
• Experience in working under indirect supervision.

Duties And Responsibilities;
• Preparation, dispensing of prescriptions and stock control, ordering and re-stocking of the dispensary.
• To cross check the prescriptions and consult or communicate whenever there is doubt of appropriateness of and item, a dose of a drug or labelling instructions.
Operation of efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the dispensary.
Ensuring the drugs are received and stored in appropriate manner, in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
• Using computer to keep records up to date.
• Handling controlled drugs.
• Politely communicating to the patients, handing out prescriptions to patients or their representatives, checking the patients’ names.
• Perform other duties as instructed
