Piping Installation Engineer – Engineering Project Team
Location: Kampala, Uganda.
Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.
Primary function:
• Responsible for the engineering, construction technical support and coordination of the process piping installation in KF Oilfield development area.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for executing projects in the best interest of the company with quality, safety, and integrity. Ensures innovation and brings forward cost saving ideas.
• Recommends improvements to procedures and practices.
• Responsible for site construction activities for piping in respect of safety, quality, schedule and cost.
Monitor Contractor labor force for his discipline Ensures that the drawings and specifications that apply to the project are correct.
• Ensures Contractor works to the approved construction method statements and schedules.
• Ensures that construction procedures are adhered to and is fully familiar with the quality control ones applicable to his discipline.
Ensures Contractor is performing to schedule requirements and have sufficient qualified supervision, skilled labor and plant.
• Knows, understands, and implements the requirements of each assigned task and seeks clarification as required from the appropriate source.
Conforms to company policies and specific contract requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Petroleum, chemical or mechanical engineering or the related.
• At least 12-year related working experience in Oil & Gas industry including 6-year experience in construction and installation. International working experience is preferred.

Knowledge:
• Good knowledgeable and experience in SP3D/E3D, isometric piping.
• Extensive knowledge of the criteria, procedure and software of the discipline.
Have a high level of engineering and technology, particularly in the oil and gas industry with the means for rotating equipment, pipes, containers, tanks and other related knowledge, familiar with the manufacturing process and quality control of piping engineering.
• Understanding of the relevant parts of the Project Execution Plan and the Project Procedures.
• Understanding oil engineering, production, etc.
