Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
Assist in production and operation related Work Program; Budget, Cost Preparation and Implementation, Production Profit and Cost Allocation.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Tilenga and EACOP to communicate production and lifting information • Assist in preparing Oil profit and expense allocation accordingly.
• Assist in the establishment of a Management production cost system including preparation and maintenance of the cost breakdown structure in liaison with the appropriate discipline.
• Assist in the development of production cost estimates including additional scope and/or variations.
• Assist in the maintenance of a cost trend register and preparation of monthly forecasts and variance logs.
• Collect production cost data, and maintain a sound expense filing system and database.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely production cost reports, verifying cost performance against the planned and identifying areas of potential budget overrun then implement corrective action.
• Support the organization and partners with production process cost review and approval processes. Proactively identify issues that could affect production costs, perform cost risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support the preparation of resource/ man-hour plans for production.
• Produce and maintain annual budget cost estimates submitted for the annual work program.
• Prepare production finance reports for submission to CNOOC HQ, Partners, Stakeholders, and Authorities.
• Perform other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project management, Finance or the related field.
• At least 4 years’ experience in planning and cost control preferably with Oil & Gas related Financing, Accounting and Cost Control. Knowledge:
• Broad knowledge of advanced international project management and finance.
• Good understanding of project accounting and cost control processes and software.
• Exceptionally skilled at Microsoft Office Software especially Excel. Good Oil & Gas Engineering Understanding
