Planning, coordinating, management and provision of technical guidance on procurement and disposal activities of the Corporation to ensure value for money.

Qualifications:
• Must have a Honors Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Commence or Economics [with a bias in procurement and Supplies Chain Management) from a recognised University, Plus Full Professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management.
• Must be a member of a recognised professional body in Supply Chain Management and Institute of Procurement professionals of Uganda (IPPU).
Master’s degree in supplies chain management, business administration or management discipline is an added advantage.

Experience and Competencies:
• At least Six (6) years of practical experience, three (3) of which should be of a senior procurement level in a Public or Reputable organisation.
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel Powerpoint and procurement management software. Relevant Experience in Donor funded projects is an added advantage.
Must have well deveveloped analytical and reporting skills
Ability to cultivate team spirit in a specialised unit, lead and motivate qualified and pecialised staff is essential.
• Good understanding of the PPDA Act & Regulations and International Procurement Standards & Regulations. Ethics and integrity, communication and time
• management.
