Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities it required.

Primary function
• Responsible for the overall Geology & Reservoir Project management of the technical support in Geology/ Hydrocarbon Reservoir/ Geophysics and Well Drilling & Completion, which is in line with the company annual work program and budget as well as the Laws and Regulations of Uganda.

Responsibilities
• Prepare the Geology & Reservoir project annual work program and budget and provide the management with the proposals in the oil field production predications and allocations with budget information.
• Ensure smooth operations and overall Geology & Reservoir technical support, supervise annual work programs and budget, and conduct the technical support activities.
• Participate in tendering and conduct the bidding evaluation especially in the technical aspect.
• – Monitor the quality and schedule regarding the technical research implemented by different disciplines to support oil field development in line with HSE, work performance standards and budget.
• Conduct the safety and the emergency response issues related to the department and give necessary emergency support to the other oil fields and departments.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering or the related
• At least 15 years of similar working experience among which 5 years of experience in Well drilling & completion design and project management is required.
• Superior in experience and knowledge with technical support management.

Knowledge
• Knowledge about Geology/ Hydrocarbon Reservoir/ Geophysics and Well Drilling &Completion, with the expert among one of the four professional aspects.
• Knowledge about the oil contracts, technical management and finance
• Knowledge about the operation decision making and the emergency response.
• Knowledge and experience in managing the geophysical and geological software system.
• Knowledge and experience in managing the multi-professional and multi-subject team.
