About Vashi Impact Group Vashi Impact Group (VIG) is a registered international development and humanitarian consultancy group. We are a group of an all-women-led social enterprise from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds based out of London, New Delhi, Kabul and Kampala. VIG specifically seeks to address a feminist and intersectional agenda in Asian, MENA, Latin America and African regions. As a feminist organisation, we are inspired by the works of Bell Hooks, Maya Angelou, June Jordan, Angela Davis, Patricia Hill Collins, Pragna Patel, Nira-Yuval Davis, Avtar Brah, and Kimberly Crenshaw. Our team consists of individuals affected by war, people with disability, refugees, women, and individuals from minority backgrounds. Our team is based across the globe and maintain links with grassroots organisations, government agencies, development partners and the private sector. Apart from being fluent in English, VIG team members can communicate in a number of languages including Sign Language, French, Spanish, Arabic, Kurdish, Pashto, Farsi, Luganda, Somali, Amharic, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

THE ROLE
This role will sit in the Global Programmes Team and will be managed by the Global Programmes Manager with dotted line management to the Executive Director. The consultant will join a fast-paced organization who is growing fast. She/he will be responsible for writing monitoring and evaluation reports on a day to day basis making sure they read well and are acceptable at a very high standard. She/he will liaise with the Global | Programmes Manager and the Executive Director to capture relevant information for inception reports etc.

She/he will have strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative and experience using SPSS, NVIVO, ODK/KOBO, SurveyCTO etc. She/he will train data collectors and enumerators remotely, manage the field work and data collection process. She/he will communicate with clients, present reports and data. She/he will also train and engage the Evaluation Assistant.

What We Are We Looking For
We are looking for a highly capable and motivated individual to join our team as a Research and Evaluation Officer. You must possess excellent writing skills. I am important that you have significant research and/or evaluation background. This role is suitable for an individual who would like to develop leadership skills and work at the international level with international clients. This role would suit someone who is a learner, take initiatives, have a laptop and can work from anywhere. You might have to travel occasionally to African, Asian and European countries. However, it’s not a must it you a childcare or other family related commitments. We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to deliver ideas in concise manner in internal and external meetings. You should be a team player and be able commit yourself to VIG and its principles of feminism.
