Job Description
KISU is currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Secondary teacher of English for the forthcoming academic year. KISU offers a truly holistic education to students from around 50 different countries, with staff from 13 nations. Located in central Kampala in a low rise residential area, the school is based on a beautifully landscaped 25 acre plot. KISU has excellent facilities including: an 8-lane swimming pool, indoor sports centre, auditorium, outdoor theatre, 2 amphitheaters, 3 IT labs, 2 libraries and 5 acres of playing fields. There are specialist teaching areas for Science, Art, Drama, Lego Robotics, Music and Food Technology. KISU offers a modified version of the English National Curriculum up to Year 9, followed by IGCSE’s and then the IB Diploma. KISU students are inclusive, diligent, well-behaved and are proud of their school. Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum for England and Wales, IGCSE and IB Diploma are advantageous but full training will be given to the right candidate.
