Professional Responsibilities
Security
• To ensure that the agreed procedures and systems for opening and locking the school are fully implemented
• To respond to emergency call-outs and take action as appropriate
• To alert the appropriate person to any risk to a breach of security and deal with any incident affecting security as directed
• To patrol the site to check for hazards, damages and intruders
• To ensure that lighting is kept in good working order
• Supervising contractors as appropriate, regarding access to the site, monitor and log the progress of the work and ensuring that work is carried out to the required standard, as appropriate
• To monitor and be aware of the entry and exit of persons on school monitored property
• To guard and secure school monitored properties
• Other duties as assigned

Professional Development
• Annually submit in writing his/her professional goals to Supervisor
• Participate with any Security training or development
• Remain active and fit for the role that is required

Professional Qualifications
• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
• Preferred relevant security experience and training certification
• Exhibit a continuing sense of God’s calling to minister at Heritage International School
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
