Job Purpose
Ensure the day-to-day accounting activities of the department run smoothly

Key Responsibilities
• Write reports, daily, weekly, or monthly to the Finance and Accounts Manage as required
• Ensure that all ledgers and updated and accurately maintained on a regular basis
• Maintain accounts and financials as per IFRS or accounting standards as well as day to day operations
• Ensure that books of accounts and accurately closed by the end of every month

Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
• Document financial transactions by entering account information into tally or excel as required in a timely manner
• Post the journals for provisions, prepayments, forex entries and other administrative expenses as and when required in a timely manner

Education and Professional Qualifications
• Degree in accounts or finance related course

Work Experience
• At least 5 years in a related field.
• Desired profile
• Good communication skills
• Computer skills with knowledge in excel, tally & SAP
• Good interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity
• Must be a team player
