Job title: Senior Production Supervisor – Production Department
Location: Kampala, Albert Lake production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.

Primary function:
Assist the line manager to execute pre-production preparation, development, production and operation management.

Responsibilities:
• Participate preproduction preparation during project period.
• Participate in engineering work, supply technical supports and advice during design, construction and pre commissioning
Review FDP production relative section, provide advice and implement during production
• Participate in for new oil- commissioning start up, and engineering left over issue follow up.
• Provide technical support for on-site production:
• participate in resolving the production issues.
• Participate in managing the production and the operation in oilfield.
• Promote the development of studies and related programs to optimize the existing field performance, ensure that new projects are fully integrated into ongoing operations, minimizing production disruption.
Implement the production operations work program and budget development.
• Ensure operations activities are conducted according to approval programs and approved budget.
• Provide the studies and analysis to improve work methods and operational efficiency.
• Prepare the data and information to be issued for the budget control and deviation analysis.
Promote scheduling of training activities and planning career development for production personnel, coordinate planning and implementing of personnel nationalization program
• Maintain appropriate relationship with government and partners to supply data and information required and solve problems of common interests:
• Maintain working relationship with partners and contractors in area of mutual interests for cost effective conduct of the operations;
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion or the related. At least 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry including 3-year experience working in Oil & Gas field on-site.

Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of exploration, development, production, drilling and completion.
Knowledge of cost control and laws.
Understanding of petroleum contract, reservoir geology and oil production
