Job Description


The job holder is responsible for:
Roles

• To particitpate in the execution of relevant Social Management Plans such as the Community Content, health, labor, influx, gender, toruism, road safety, transport, cultural heritage and gender
• To update (if required), implement the Project’s management plans above in line with the respective impacted communities
To monitor and evaluate the respective social management plans and projects started up for different PACs within the project area
• To participate in the establishment of a stakeholder plan for the PACs in conjuctions with the Stakeholder Engagement team
• To update the social data base with related information periodically.
• Ensure all due diligence and other compliance requirements are undertaken for especially any beneficiaries.
Ensure relevant daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports are prepared on time and shared
• Support to ensure relevant procedures, manuals and policies are in place and respected by key entities
• Track, review and prepare budget and cost control documentation and respective documentations.

Relations with authorities, joint venture partners and other stakeholders
• To ensure the buy-in of relevant stakeholders, business, Government authorities and JV partners for any supported intiatives.
• To identify organisations, associations, institutions (NGOs, local CSOs, Donors, others), with whom the company established intiatives could colloborate with.
• Work with the contractor and respective National Content teams to ensure compliance with the national and energy related legislative requirements

Qualifications And Required Experience
Qualifications:
• Degree in social sciences, development studies, anthropology, Environmental Health, Gender, Agriculture, land use & natural resources management, project management or equivalent;

Experience:
• At least 5 years experience in community projects, development projects and/or in other similar area (NGOs, donors, State development funds, etc)
• Ability to maintain good relations with a wide range of local stakeholders, NGOs, donors, local authorities, local communities.
Ability to work in a team, take initiative, highly organised and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility. The job requires most of the time to work after 5 pm. Capacity to work in the field.
• Excellent Computer skills (Word, Excel, ppt)/ Good report writing and analytical skills
