Job Description


Job Summary
To skillfully oversee and enhance client-centric social support services.

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Supervise specific ROM community staff plus any other field staff to ensure comprehensive and effective support to ROM community activities.
2. Conduct timely and regular reporting about community work done with both qualitative and quantitative outcomes highlighted for informing strategic reviews.
3. Conduct case management, Support and facilitate the training and/or meetings for various community needs required for effective implementation of ROM programs.
4. Conduct relevant regular & and comprehensive data collection & and entry in the electronic medical records system and submit timely weekly, monthly & and quarterly reports.
5. Document community intervention outcomes including success stories for regular input to ROM communication function and general reporting.
6. Conduct targeted home visits and document emerging issues to ensure the effective delivery of ROM services
7. Take the lead in all community interventions and projects including rollouts, overseeing implementation, report writing, and submission.
8. Uphold and promote a safeguarding culture within the organization, consistently documenting and reporting identified and potential safeguarding concerns to the HR department.
9. Prioritize health, safety, and security within your operational area while championing the vision, mission, and values of Reach Out Mbuya.
10. Carry out any additional tasks as delegated by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA), Social Sciences, Education, Community Psychology or Public Health, or any related qualification.
• A minimum of three years’ work experience in a field position with an organization in public health or Livelihood programming.
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and community mobilization skills.
