B JOB DESCRIPTION
B1 Overall purpose of the job.
DCS operation, substituting Lab chemist whenever required.

Key Responsibilities
1. DCS operation & reporting to Shift superintendent in all process operations.
2. Supervising operators and instructing them to follow all process operations (Fermentation, distillation, WTP, ETP, boiler &turbine) as per the procedure and reporting to Supdt.Shift
3. DCS record maintenance
4. Doing laboratory analysis when required
5. Yeast culturing and developing up to culture vessel stage
6. Adhering to and enforcing the Safety, Health and Environment Policy of the company
7. ISO / UNBS certificate related coordination with the team.
8. Hygienic condition maintenance in the DCS control room.
9. Performing any other related duties that may be assigned by the Superintendent Shift/Management from time to time.

C Knowledge, qualifications & Experience
C1.1 Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.

C1.2 Experience, Skills and Competences:
• DCS /Computer operation, Laboratory analysing skills.

Communication Skills: The position demands constant interactions with employees, management, and stakeholders throughout the business and, therefore, communication skills are an absolute necessity.

Ms Office: A candidate for this position must be proficient in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, Tally, SAP,EFRS, FICO, all necessary for the creation of not only visually but verbally engaging materials, reports, presentations, and proposals for departmental heads and management, stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: A candidate for this position must be capable of gathering and interpreting raw information and data, documenting findings, and drawing appropriate recommendations.

Interpersonal Skills: The candidate must be a helpful, calm and professional individual and demonstrate calmness during times of uncertainty.
