To evaluate and approve loans within loan limit by reviewing applicants’ financial status, credit history and property used as collateral.

Key duties/responsibilities:
• Ensure that all staff under your supervision on a daily/weekly/monthly basis attain their assigned disbursement and collections targets.
• To develop and implement marketing and distribution strategies for the attainment and ownership of the agreed branch disbursement targets in consultation with your supervisor.
• To lead and implement strategies/ activities to achieve and own the Team set portfolio quality targets in consultation with your supervisor.
• To lead the team to ensure that all approved processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring – DEP) are adhered to.
• To handle disciplinary cases as per Branch Operation Guidelines.
• To conduct field visits to clients, guarantors and relevant stakeholders in the branch area of coverage.
• To chair the loan committee, sit in the disbursement meeting and ensure all the loan documentation is in the file and the necessary lending processes are adhered to.
• To prepare daily/weekly /monthly reports and ensure timely submission to your supervisor.
• Performance management; inform/engage, remediation plan and action, documentation and staff appraisal to ensure continuous performance improvement for all staff in the assigned Team.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience:
• Degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledgeable about SME Loans.
• Computer knowledge.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum age 23 years old and Maximum of 35 years old.
