Our client in the Energy Sector seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and results-oriented individual for the vacancy above.
As an electricity distributor, UMEME is licensed to distribute and supply electricity to customers. This mandate involves; the operation, maintenance and upgrade of electricity distribution infrastructure, electricity retail and provision of related services. The sector is regulated by the Electricity Regulatory Authority, whose mandate includes setting operating standards and appropriate end-user tariffs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Providing technical assistance with equipment operations, setting equipment parameters.
2. Data collection, collation and manipulation through available IT systems
3. Manages and maintains archive of company data, including ensuring that backups are created, maintenance of archive database, storage and retrieval of physical media for recent show archives
4. Review vendor & stock paper work patterns to ensure compliance.
5. Perform records entries as assigned and periodic reports
6. Any other duties as required as commensurate to the post

Requirements:
1. A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
2. Diploma in Electrical is a MUST.
3. Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office, database systems & familiar working electrical equipment .
4. Highly motivated, strategic thinker with a strong record of achievement
5. Ability to work under strict supervision and work under high-pressure.
6. Good time-management skills
7. Excellent Communication skills and the ability to work closely with team members
