Our vision for TREEO stems from 8 years of tree planting experience in Indonesia and Uganda where we were able to plant more than 1 million trees together with a highly ambitious team. Working towards this achievement we realized the difficulty of accurately monitoring CO2 sequestration to prove our impact. TREEO is our solution. TREEO collects monitoring data from every single tree via the TREEO App, which creates the necessary trust and transparency for farmers to commercialize carbon removals. Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a UI/UX Designer (Part-time), you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive experiences of our digital products. The ideal candidate should be passionate about user-centric design, possess a keen eye for aesthetics, and have a solid understanding of user experience principles. The UI/UX Designer (Part-time) will work closely with our cross-functional teams and perform the following tasks:
• Conduct research to gain deep knowledge and understanding of our users needs
Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts to global
• Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback for iterative design improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance design processes.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the final product.
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of design guidelines and standards.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and make data-driven decisions to improve user engagement.

Required capabilities:
• 4+ Years of Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio showcasing previous design projects with a focus on both UI and UX
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
• Strong understanding of Human-centered design principles and usability
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design rationale and ideas to a diverse audience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred capabilities
• You bring an established network with potential balancers and/or have industry expertise
• You have experience working in an international & dynamic environment, with cross-functional teams around the world
• You have a good understanding of the international carbon market (history, challenges, potential)
