Well site Materials Controller – Procurement and Contracts
Location: Kampala, Lake Albert production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.
Primary function:
• To provide efficient and accurate in country Field Inventory control as per Operational requirements and support.

Responsibilities:
• Control/store/preserve Inventory and Equipment as per industry standards and operational requirements.
• Capture all transaction in electronic system and report accordingly to clients Interact with Operations Department to supply to sites fit for purpose materials as per operational requirements.
• Implement all necessary standards and supervision to comply with HSE objectives. Plan all logistics requirements and communicate activities accordingly
• Liaise with drilling supervision and service companies for materials supply Plan, coordinate and manage logistics requirements and assets including plants crane age and transport as per agreed operational requirements.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to align to nationalization plan and transfer of competency.
• Over all accountability for supervising and leading the field materials and logistic team Supervise premises and personnel’s in relation to safety and objection performance.
• Arrange and segregate materials in corresponding location Consolidation and integration of material returns from the rig site and other project sites Requisition – purchase requisitions for consumables in the warehouse/ yard
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse and material yard
• Perform any other duties assigned by Superior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, planning, management or the related.
• Minimum of 3 years proven field materials
• Knowledge of EMMS required.
• Certificates in technical/HSE courses such as DG, Plant Utilization, IOSH, stores management, lifting plans, drilling technology among others preferred. Understanding of oil E&P.
